Just a word of warning to peeps coming on down. VAX vacuum cleaners bought in the UK will not be supported for spares in NZ. Throw out your Hepa filters before packing to suit MAF requirements then you might as well throw out the whole unit. VAX NZ cannot get spares for UK distributed models and VAX UK refuse to supply spares to NZ........good service in the WW market...

I was sold the VAX cleaner by a UK dealer that assured me they had a WW spares service......they didn't tell me that all of their models are country designated and not spares interchangeable or international......

What is it you need? Is it an expensive part? I could check it out and sling it in my container when we come out? It will be a while obviously but it may be an option?
Get in touch with the UK spares dept and ask them what their postal charges are to NZ..... I am chasing up one last resort the supplier oh Oz/NZ VAX spares is doing some measuring up of similar models to see if the filters might be interchangeable. The huge difference between NZ retail staff........in NZ they WANT to serve you....in the UK they HAVE to serve you.... VAX NZ 1 point VAX UK get stuffed......
