Are tortilla chips readily available in New Zealand?
Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone can help me with this random question! We are sending a package to New Zealand (Christchurch) to the family who hosted us. Our hostess liked to serve various dips as appetizers, and we are sending her a couple of packages of spices used to make a dip that's popular where we live.
It's a beef chili recipe that is combined with cream cheese, onions, and cheddar cheese, and then is baked in the oven. We would ordinarily serve it with tortilla chips, but that led me to wonder, are tortilla chips readily available in NZ?
If not, I'm guessing there would be something that could be substituted.
Thanks!
Kaffy

Definitely - had some over there this Christmas.

Awesome - thank you. It has occurred to me that it's probably more of a Mexican food, so readily available here, but I couldn't remember if I'd seen them in NZ or not. A quick google didn't make it clear either. Thanks!
