Yep they said it was gonna get very blowy, predicted 120kmh winds a couple of days ago.
Was fun watching it this afternoon, it passed right overhead the prison

I live in Whenuapai and its pretty mad out here, roofs off houses and just destruction all the way to Hobsonville - luckily our house survived with just bits and pieces thrown around. People around the corner werent so lucky

Didn't know you could go direct Chch to the US these days....guess there must be some other steps in there that could account for the cancellation ;-)

rescheduled, rescheduled and rescheduled ..
so fed up waiting at the airport for a few hours doing nothing. anyway... finally got home. the chaos.. at the airport to check in... it was sh1t. don't ask.
