Hi there,
Was just wondering whether any expats would be interested in getting involved with an Auckland/all NZ branch of Conservatives Abroad? It's mainly an idea at this stage, but the point of it would be to represent the interests of British expats and voters and allow them to continue to have a say in the UK. If you're interested or have any thoughts, please comment here or PM me.

I see. Fair 'nuf though I think this idea would attract more expats if it appealed to the sandal and shorts wearing socialistic liberals out here living "the good life". You know who you are!

Bit confused.....why would you want to vote in the UK. You made the choice to emigrate to NZ didn't you? Why did you leave the UK, there must be a reason why you left!!! I personally feel that I have no right to vote in the UK now I am here. I take interest in NZ and I vote in the country I have now chosen to live in.
