I'm sure I've seen quorn for sale here in New Zealand and I think it was at New World. Can't say I agree on your assessment of it as a food source but it is a hell of a lot more ethical than meat (excepting that it promotes battery hen farming and animal feed lots etc.)

Hellman's Real Mayonnaise....seen the 'pretend stuff'.....logo looks impressive .....ummmm just the logo that's impressive then ...and son says McVities Jaffa Cakes!!!....bless him..he actually spoke instead of grunted

They sell Jaffa cakes at some New Worlds as well. Also Contdown sell rubbish knock off versions under their own brand.

Pack and slave in Mt Wellington has a 'UK Isle'. All the UK brands, Jaffa Cakes, Hellmans, Yorkshire Tea, Love Hearts (Yay!) etc, etc and it is the real stuff. Pay quite a premium though.

Thank you Billingham ...now I really have to hide the car keys Welly is three hours away!! ...but the Dad is in Welly...he can spend his cents

Mind you soft Jaffa cakes seem out of their depth here compared to the much harder and more rugged native Afghan biscuit.

Some foods just don't travel well, like Terry's Chocolate Oranges, make sense in the UK at Christmas but Christmas is in the summer here and they'd never survive a sunny day on the parcel shelf of a car headed to the beach. Unfit for purpose of sale.
