OK... we couldn't sleep last night, worrying about how we'll manage paying out all our cash on a house just to be near Auckland, then having to work all hours etc etc..... kinda what OH does here already.... so first thing this am, we check out open2view just to see what a friend has advised us.... New Plymouth! Big difference, unsurprisingly.... so could we possibly persuade anybody in Taranaki to give us a bit of an idea of your experience living there... we have 2 kids and having all that extra space would be something we've only ever dreamt of... proper lifestyle change and OH could even think about working as a commercial photographer, once he's kicked me out to work again (sob!)

I think New Plymouth is where they filmed "Last Samurai" and a few other epic films....looks great...but i reckon wet wet wet
