Taking our first steps to a new life change
Hello to all who may read this.
We are a family living in hertfordshire. We have two children aged 11 and 7 and we all have taken the decision that New Zealand is the place to share our life together. My wife is a qualified Hairdresser and I am a HGV driver/Baulk flour tanker driver.
The North Island seems the ideal place for us to live (but open to suggestions) and would really appreciate some help & advice and personal experience on how to make the best decisions on things like where to live & work in NZ.

HI and welcome to BE.
I would suggest you have a read through of some of the threads on the main forum regarding places to live. It may help you get an idea of the different areas. Perhaps think whether you want to be rural/coastal/lakes/hot or cold etc and then that'll help narrow it down!
You'll most likely find that you're area will be dictated to by employment though!
