Summer is coming and I'd love to waterski....
After my exams (in 2 weeks) I'm gonna look at what I'm going to try and do in summertime (as the football season has ended here).
When I was in the RAF , I used to love waterskiing when I was based at RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus. That was back in 1997-2000. I have been back to akrotiri 4 times since then, the latest (and probably last) trip was just over a year ago.
I did consider going for the orakei basin ski club but I think theres something about skiing in the sea as opposed to a circular lake.
so.....................I know its a long shot but if there are any of you boatey types out there who might need an extra pair of hands to drive the boat whilst you're skiing ( and I can have a go too) in the auckland area (I'm on North Shore) this summer - I'm more than willing (and of course would chip in for go-go juice)
