I spent a couple of hours at Wellington airport this morning waiting for a flight to Christchurch. Gave up and went back to my office when they said all flights were cancelled.

Wifey went to work as usual on the bus tho I had to drive down and pick her up. Snow was heavy but very very wet and easy to drive on. The morning might be different if it freezes.... Yet to figure out why the bus company stopped services...

Quite a few cars had problems on the roads around Parklands, including one that ended on it's roof! Wheels were spinning, cars were zigzagging across the road and problems getting out of driveways.
