Default Short Term / Long Term Rental Sept - Oct

Hi

We are a family of 3 plus horror of horror a DOG!!! ( a small chocolate labrador) , moving back to the Tauranga area in September this year. We are looking for a short term furnished lease for 4 or 5 weeks whilst our furniture makes its way over. Then a long term lease in the Pys Pa / Lakes area until we get get credit established so we can buy.

We appreciate that the big problem is going to be our dog, much better house trained than many a teenager!!

If any one has any suggestions or knows someone who could point us in the right direction or has a rental of their own :-)

Many thanks

Good luck with all the preparations for the move - exciting, stressful, busy, busy time! I'd recommend looking at bookabach & holiday houses NZ for the short term furnished rental property- sometimes owners will negotiate a reduced rate for a longer term stay, especially out of the busy holiday season . I'd suggest looking at a range of properties in the areas you're interested in & sending enquiries to the owners stating your requirements. Several properties do allow well behaved animals. Once you're here and settled in the short term rental that then gives you the opportunity to look for the longer term rental properly, it's harder to do that from overseas and you really need to look carefully at long term rentals in my opinion. I may possibly be in a position to help so will pm you.
