Scottish Criminal Record Office ???

Scottish Criminal Record Office ???
hi.
looking for a wee help. hopefully some scottish applicants will be able to help me out on this.
going to submit the EOI and i think will be selected automatically with a mark of above 140.
just wondering has any scottish been asked to supply the record on Scottish Criminal Record Office in addition to the Police National Computer when they received the ITA pack?
going to the local police station soon to apply for it since heard it will take ages and not within 40 days tho......

Hi there
When we applied we received our Scottish Criminal Record info first, but for some reason our application was also passed through for the National information. Altogether it took about three weeks for the Scottish infor to come through, then 40 days from the receipt of the Scottish info 'til the National stuff came through....Plenty of time for us to worry that we had something dodgy in the past that we had forgotten about, but it all came through fine.

hi we just ticked the scottish one first,they came back fine,but when we submitted the paper work for visas it all came back to us after about 2 weeks.
even though your in scotland you have to submit police checks for national computer checks,
not the scottish ones,aparantly they said to us you could have travelled to england and comitted a crime,so you need national check
that sounds fair,but when we asked them if an english person has to apply for scottish police checks they said no:curse:
so apparantly you can travel to scotland and comit a crime ,but that doesn,t matter
we wasted a few weeks by having to re apply,so definitely do the national,

did they ask for the Police National Computer only or both?

if i remember correctly we got both, I went to the police station off Bath Street and filled in stuff, and we got letters back from Scotland and National. Both pretty much at the same time.

must have been the english right enough....
no offence ment there by the way......
we had already got scottish ones back before we had to apply for national,to save any waste of time i;d do both just in case
garry phone them and gave them dogs abuse ,saying they were descriminating against the scottish..the guy couldn't see it...
but he was english
