Question San Francisco stop over

We have a 24 hour stop over in San Francisco. Any recommendations for hotel, restaurant etc?

I thought, Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz (if it doesn't take too long), tram ride ~ maybe a little game of streets of........

alcatraz is most excellent, apart from the tourists with their self guided headphone tours shouting at each other because they are not bright enough to work out that its easier to hear your friend talking by taking your headphones off.

True enough. Nevertheless, it's an excellent tour with the headphones.

We stayed in the Fishermans Wharf area and had a lovely time doing all the touristy things, we stayed at the radisson hotel which was reasonalbly priced.
