Hi We have had some posting in the past a few weeks owners wanting to rent out Rooms,Homes during the World Cup.
I was sure that Bev said she was looking to see if we could put some thing up so we could place that information on Accommodation.(Hope she puts me Right)

For owners to list a home act at a cost!! starting from $100 this site gives lots of useful information.
But would be so good if we could do this on Expats, by helping out people due to arrive not going to get riped off.

The graphic on the site sums the approach that many seem to be taking - cartoons of UK, French and Canadian tourists waving wads of cash! - milk as much out of the tourists as you can

Something closer to Couchsurfing would be more in keeping with the karma of this site Or at least putting people in touch with accommodation at affordable prices. I have a mad Welsh mate and his wife looking for accommodation in Wellington, if anyone wants to rent their place out by the way! We would help but will probably be living back in England by that stage.

Yep, indeed The World Cup kicks off next month. No comparison in scale between the two events at all. Yep, also hoping England can do the business in S.A. Be good to see NZ put up a good show too.
