Tried ringing UK yesterday a few times and this morning and keep getting a message saying "congestion overseas heavy, please try again" can't say I've ever had that message, has anyone else? cheers

In years past we used to have that sometimes if calling at a peak time.

Yeah, I haven't heard it for a good while as family mostly call me now as they get free calls but it used to be a regular thing. Especially worse if you are using one of those prepaid international calling services.

Rang my internet provider (as calls are now through them with landline number) and they rebooted our system for us to no avail. Oh well will ring the old man another day. He doesn't use computer etc so can only ring him on his landline.

I always ring on Facebook so its free and you are not reliant on light traffic

Unfortunately I think my dad would also have to have FB to do this? he doesn't own a computer at all and probably never will at almost 86.
