Hi all,

We currently live in the Auckland area and hope to be moving back to the UK in 2014. Searching on Google brings up several:
- Conroy
- New Zealand Movers
- NZ Van Lines
- Transworld
- Container Relocations
- WorldMoving
- Shipping to UK

I am sure some are just freight forwarders who contract out everything so I would prefer a mover who handles moving and storage door to door.

I would really appreciate any opinions, experiences or recommendations.

Hi

There are a few returnees currently going through the move back to the UK from NZ hopefully they will reply, we used Chess from Aus and were Ok and very reasonable in cost but not sure if they are in NZ. Good luck and hope all goes well.

We work with the Moving Company in New Zealand for our customers going to and from as they are part of our network (UniGroup Relocation Network).

You can also get quotes from UK companies who will get a partner in NZ to do the origin services if you feel more comfortable?

We moved back last year and used allied pickfords. We were really impressed with them.

Thanks. I wondered who the good 'uns were for removal companies NZ to UK. Allied moved us from Christchurch to Wanganui, they were good. I would get a quote from them when the time comes to go back home to UK.

NZ Van Lines delivered our container to our door in NZ and moved all our stuff into our rented home. They were good.
