Reclaiming road tax when shipping car

Reclaiming road tax when shipping car
We are bringing our car from UK to NZ in September. The shipping company will pick the car up and drive it to the port. Does anyone know how I can reclaim the unused road tax?

you just fill in a form at the post office hand it over with the tax disc and they send it off for you. make sure shipping Company take it off the car before putting on the container and hand it back to you.
