Default Rant thread

As a poster suggested, we should have a rant thread in the Sheep Dip so I decided to start one and say I'm furious! Just bought some spaghetti sauce and upon getting home found it'd been opened! And it's an expensive imported brand - not something we usually buy on our weekly shop!

It may seem like a trivial thing but it's just an example of how things are here!!!:curse:

People will open things in the supermarket, sometimes even taste them and not purchase them

We just finished unpacking all of our stuff from the move to Milford.
Now our stuff had been in storage for 6 weeks until we found a place.
When unpacking the last few boxes the Geniuses of removal men had packed our Cats Litter tray that was out side (to be disposed of) in a leather bound box - COMPLETE WITH POO !!!!!!!!!! WTF was going through their minds?!?!?!?!

You're getting karma. I didn't think anything could make me smile, let alone grin, today but you have.

Rant:

My husband is employed. An employee. Works during the day and is paid an hourly rate. So why is it that a customer of the company he works for thinks it OK to look up our number & phone him at home at 9pm last night to talk about his poxy 'project' .

GGrrrrrr

Sorry it's not really a laughing matter but it made me laugh! Imported used cat litter gives a whole new meaning to the phrase taking the piss

And why did they wrap it in a leather bound case??

I assume they wrapped it in the leather bound case because they didn't want to have to write on the packing form '1 used cat litter tray' instead they could assist me in importing this item of great sentimental value by describing it as '1 leather bound storage box'
Do you think i should write them a letter to thank them - i mean my cat was ecstatic to find it - i guess he thought he must have just misplaced it 6 weeks ago

Ooo I definitely would be sending them a humorous piece of gratitude from the cat.

It's a good thing it didn't cause you any problems with MAF.

Somehow I can picture your cat finding his used cat litter box well at least it'll help him settle in faster Try to take a pic and post it on the Dogs in New Zealand thread - it's for all the pets really

You're right BEVS - didn't think about MAF?!
That would have been an interseting conversation - not to mention th $100 to have my cats poo and litter box disposed of and cleaned (hopefully in that order)

OK, it's not funny but I just can't help laughing ! Wouldn't like it if it happened to me. Our packers had the prescence of mind to tell us to take the natural pine cones from our artificial Christmas Tree. Packing a cat's litter tray complete with stink

Hubby & I think the packers do things like this for as laugh. There was a thread somewhere about the weird stuff that got packed. I'll try and find it .
