I have decided that this week I'm going to receive my passport back, complete with blue ticket.

No ifs or buts.

No more ... "maybe next week."

You mentioned before that you submitted EOI in October and are just now getting your final stuff back (we hope and pray...) - passports, visa, good to go etc. As it now looks like my quals are not worth a hill o'beans for skilled migrant application and i might have to wait till I've been a spouse for long enough, this means I can't submit EOI till April. If it takes the same time as yours, we should be okay (husbeast's job starts late Aug/Sept). However I just read someone else's post that said they submitted EOI in summer and didn't receive even the initial invitation package till November! Now I dunno what to doooo...

Anyone else got a wildly varying timeline to confuse me further?
