A quick question to those who have recently mailed letters and parcels to the UK via NZ Post - outside of the month of December, how long approx did it take for the item to arrive in the UK?

I posted our Christmas cards today to family and friends. I paid $56.20 for the privilege of sending 27 cards.

8 x $3.00 to go overseas = $24.00
1 x BK stamps = $22.50 (Twelve stamps for the price of 11 for NZ cards.)
1 x 2.50 = $2.50 (an envelope to one address with several cards in it.)
STP2010DEF240 = $2.40 (I have no idea what this is)
2015 XMAS 80C x 2 = $1.60 (cards to NZ addresses)
2015 XMAS 80C x 4 = $3.20 (cards for NZ addresses)

I realise we've missed the last posting day for Christmas but they will probably get there in time anyway.

My husband's sister lives on the northern fringes of Auckland. Technically she lives in Rodney. They have Rural Post so things can take longer to arrive by post. I can't help but wonder if Christmas cards will get to Britain sooner than they will get to where she lives.

I paid $2.50 each for cards to US, Canada, SA, France and UK. Why you pay $3?

Usually 4-5 days, no more than a week usually

The size dimensions are measured with regard to cost. Not just the weight. The cards I sent were probably a different size to yours. Here's a link describing the size and cost.

Thanks Sparkley, that's what I was hoping. Always seems quicker to post from NZ to UK than the other way round.
