Default pommie sparkies working in nz

Hi there, just wondering if there are any courses that can be done in Uk that count towards getting registered in NZ and do not have to be repeated once applying for registration here. Thanks for any help, Bevissa

Hi,
It depends on what you call courses???
If you type in to the search bar, electrical registration there are a lot of questions answered, pretty much all you can do in the uk is the nz first aid and an electrical safety course and this is done through a chap called Nick Chandler his contact details are on there somewhere. The 2 courses i mentioned earlier ar a requirement to getting registered, i dont know how much you have looked into getting registered, but there is a 2 week course that has to be done over here, 1 week theory and 1 week pratical and will cost the best part of $1600 and i think i am right in saying the run the courses twice a year from various venues scattered about the country.
Hope this helps.

M

http://www.ewrb.govt.nz/content/trai...1thMay2011.pdf

lists Nick's contact details, whereas Lord Consulting is an umbrella organisation
I can vouch for him as I've appointed him on jobs and worked with him on projects, one of the good guys.
