I work for a Police Force in the UK and heard that there is a drive by NZ Gov to take on Police PCSOs and Officers from the UK, however, just doing a quick search, not sure how up-to-date this info is. Can anyone kindly advise me if this is true and if possible include some feed back for me please.

I've seen a few ad campaigns on TV for recruiting - unfortunately the police force in NZ has been under rather a lot of negative publicity at the moment as there have been a few high profile rape cases involving high ranking police officers along with some other mis-conduct alligations. I don't know details for recruiting especially from the UK, but I'm sure someone will know on the website.

Sorry cant help, I remember as few years ago on here we discussed the very thing and I think there was quite a bit of info posted but sorry I would not even know where to start looking.

If I do remember correctly I think that the salaries were pretty bad and not much choice in where you are positioned, but that could well have changed.

Oh right, thanks for your replies. I was reading a thread over here that was saying Police in NZ wanted British Police over there so, though I'd look into it and see if I could get an interview if nothing else. I think so people found out before me and have the interviews next month.... I can't find the links/websites for the application pack... Drat.
