The Pohutukawa Christmas tree picture thread.
There is nothing more stunning that a fully flowering Pohutukawa tree is there. Otherwise known as the New Zealand Christmas tree.
So, let's see if we can astonish and delight the eyes of people looking in, as we come up to Christmas, with a splendid display of our own photos of this tree around New Zealand
This picture was taken at Ruby Bay McKee Reserve just up the road from us.
People get to camp there quite cheaply if they wish and it is right on the shore line.

Thank you for posting it for me Bev. My effort failed. Martins Bay is where our caravan is and where we spend our hols and weekends. The Pohutukawa trees line the full lengthof the beach.

It look lovely.
I have been trying to convince Mr BEVS for the past couple of years now that a caravan in a good spot = a bach & does not mean we are decrepit shed-pullers .
I'll get there in the end
