To be perfectly honest, this may come as a surprise to you, but I have to admit that NO, I WOULD NOT BE AT ALL INTERESTED . However, I have a funny feeling that I know a man who will be I shall pass this on and v. confident that he'll look into it (tonight!).

No, I had some bread baskets I had that was part of a set I got in France, I also had a large basket with linen inlay for dirty washing and a big picnic basket with leather straps which was a gift....the guy saw them and said no. His explanation was that mites etc could live in the leave so unless they were all treated they couldn,t go...I wasn't happy at all but you do what you think the rules are...

We brought over about 20 wicker/reed baskets of all sizes and descriptions (i quite like them... plus had lots of my mum's that i keep to remember her by) and clearly marked the box.

Maf didn't even inspect that box! This was in Sept 2005, so nearly 18 months ago....

...i then lost half of them by leaving them packed in boxes in a damp old garage (= no experience of humidity)

You'll have no worries brining them in.
