Default Playing Cricket and netball in New Zealand

Hi, can anybody tell me how cricket and netball are played in NZ.(We know they are!) Both myself and hubby play these sports on a regular basis, and want to continue. Do they have local leagues in the same way as here in the UK?Are all levels played, ie. more local games for those that aren't quite good enough to play for NZ, but still serious enough to want to play. If so, are there any folk out there able to give any information on how to contact clubs when we arrive in New Zealand? All information gratefully received.
Thanks Janet and David

Netball is very widely played, from schoolkids right through to the Silver Ferns. My workplace has a social team which plays once a week in the social grades. Indoor netball is very popular, and there are many social grades with mixed teams, many guys play and enjoy the game too. There will be no trouble finding a team, ask around your new workplace, or just go to one of the indoor netball places as there are often teams looking for an extra player or two, put your name up on the board. There are also the clubs which will be looking for new people. It is netball season now, although indoor netball is year-round.
Can't help with the cricket though, sorry, except to say that social indoor cricket is very popular.
