Hi Guys, We have just returned from a day out to Wellington, we usually park at Te Papa, mainly cos its easy to find. Can anyone recommend anywhere else to park,cos one day Te Papa will be full, & we'll be screwed. Don't go in often, it's only the third time we've been.

there are loads of multi storey car parks around...many are expensive though...
if your in early the parking area in front of the ferry terminal at customhouse quay is good. there are lots of parking structures around lambdon quay. the parking area at courtney place is probably the biggest, and not so expensive if i remember. id say the courtney place one is a good option. the entrance is off one of the side streets, so look out for the signage

I'd try Boulcott Street (just off Lambton Quay, and close to motorway offramp at the Terrace) if you want to be central, or Westpac stadium (behind station) - both were about $9 all day last time AFAIK
