Well not posted here for a bit so I thought an update would be good, now that we have something to actually update the forum with.

We got PR what feels like a long time ago but haven't acted upon it because Jo was pregnant.
Well we now have a baby boy who is doing super.

We are booked in to see the panel doctor on early October, get him checked out and sign off the medical forms. Jo needs to have a chest xray which we can get done at the same time, then submit the forms to Immigration and get baby added to the application.

Funny trying to take passport photos of baby, we succeeded but he is going to have that passport for 5 years!

So middle to end of October , once we have paid the migrant levy fee! We should get all of our important documents back and more importantly our passports with the blue stickers!!!

Looking at flights end of March , stop over in Hong Kong for a week and then onto Auckland.

I have been applying for jobs, but you really do need to be in the country for anyone to take you seriously.

All paper work sent off now. Hey cross fingers we get everything back before November!

We decided ages ago to go with both moving to NZ and start a family. Our plan is coming together (lucky i guess) and all being well we will be in NZ in April.

We wanted to give baby loads of experience straight from the off and I think growing up in a place like NZ will do wonders for him.
