HHmm. I can't comment on them but I can comment on me.
I think by that definition I am a slob. I'm clean & I don't stink to my knowledge. Nor are my pits or legs hairyfied but as I don't wear make-up , will wear Phils old work tshirts & can be seen in 4 square in me scruffs I think I must be the slob variety.

My wife came in today wearing jeans, chaps (horse riding), old work boots, no make up and she is hotter than hell.
Personally I am not sure why the definition of a (female) slob is defined by wearing practical clothes and an aversion for makeup.

Yesterday I chose my Christmas tree, put my handbag down on the ground, got down on my knees and chopped/sawn down my own tree. I was wearing a dress! I do not see a difference in how women should/do dress to complete tasks and think that to call someone a slob for their clothing says more about the 'labeller' than the 'labelled'
