Not before time. The scene is massive over here moreso than the 70's............albeit we are a little older and can;t do the moves we used to.
Before we moved to NZ in Jan 2006 (home again now) I searched everywhere to see if there was any Northern soul nights.
I saw a scooter rally and asked a Scottish guy from Welly, he said that in welly it is more Jazz.

Good news then, it might convince me to return!!!!

we have seen a few nightclubs in and around our area in auckland,and everything here seems to be R&B, but then we are in the land of the gangster or g's as they get called...

i was never that much into northern soul,i was more a jazz funk person in the 80's.....but loved to watch them dancingvery impressive....jacky
