No. 8 wire technology.
Like Wiz's thread re the 'aye', who has also become deft at the above.
I was always handy back in blighty at repairing stuff..but man I have gone into a new league in NZ..I can repair anything.
Out for a run the other day ( night before handle falls off an expensive frying pan), on said run I found a Le Cruset frying pan someone had binned. Took it home and transplanted the handle from the binned one onto my busted one.
Many more things repaired that I would have probably binned in the UK.
It's catching innit all this kiwi mentality..I like being a 'new' person?? I feel like I have gone native.
