I gotta get that book.

I was gonna try a lamb stew yesterday but forgot so I had to make it on top of the stove and wait for hours anyway.

I had another go with some chicken and used a lot less liquid than before and it was better.

I'll get there in the end.

Try Maggi's Slow Cooker Sausage Casserole Mix, it actually makes NZ Sausages taste nice-ish

I remember now, you were asking a while back about the Panny's in NZ. I have been hearing a lot on the radio lately advertising 'WORLD FAMOUS PANASONIC BREADMAKERS ARE NOW AVAILABLE IN NEW ZEALAND'

Magness Benrow have been making a big song and dance about them:

http://www.magnessbenrow.co.nz/small...readmaker.html

I think Noel Leemings may have them but their website is off air at present, funny that so is Bond & Bond. Hmmn, are they related?

I know there have been threads about breadmakers before on here. I bought a sunbeam bakehouse multifunctional with gluten free option and have had great results. Comes with a recipe book and full instructions.

Blasted slow cooker is still turning out school dinners no matter what I try. All tastes rather samey and dry.

I like the way you are blaming the tools, don't see enough of that on Masterchef .
