do you ever get used to the cost of Grocery shopping?

lol - you wait when you need a tradie, they charge travel costs. I guess the UK tradies factor it in but don't actually list it as part of the cost

Hahaha I has a stand up row with a plumber over this. I deliberately chose him as he lived around the corner (literally, the next street) and I spoke to him, told him it wasn't urgent - we were just changing a tap from one style to another - and to come in one evening on his way home.

He did the job and charged me the "vehicle fee" as well. Can imagine how chuffed was I. And how often i haven't used him since. And told everyone I know to avoid him like the bubonic.
