Moving to NZ but booking a return flight to save money
Hi all
We're moving to NZ in January and thinking of booking a return ticket as its cheaper to change the flight dates back to the UK than to buy a single ticket to NZ and then return flights to UK - we intend to come back at least once in the year. Then when we returned to NZ we would do the same again. Does anyone do this? I've looked on the Air NZ website and it doesn't say anything about a time limit to changing travel dates.
Also, if anyone knows anyone who wants to rent a property in or near Hamilton for 2 years from Jan 2014 let me know
Thanks
Helen

Re: Moving to NZ but booking a return flight to save money
I'm just booking my flights now and was in two minds about coming back for Christmas. However, since a single has often cost more than a return I see no point in buying a single. So, I will buy a ticket for a six month stay in NZ and another one when back in the UK for Chrismas.
