No but my wife gleaned another bit of info from the guy's sister today at work... It turns out he spent the night sleeping in my truck.

I yelled at the kids last night for leaning the driver's seat all the way back and then again for lying when they both denied it.

Have I got a dog for you! Coonhound, would howl the house down if someone came up to the door......plus knock them down for good measure trying to make sure they knew she was the dominant one! Won't bite though.....

ABY I know you may have thought about this, but what about a couple of geese, just as good as guard dogs.. noisy when they hear something and can be just as nasty.

Just one slight problem... if they're nasty gits, they tend to be nasty to everyone, owner, wife, kids, the postman, friends etc

A mate of mine had a pair at home, it was a spiteful thing too. Unfortunately someone stole the gander one night near Christmas one year, he suspected that they threw feed over the gate and waited for it and then stuffed a bag over it's head. Well, there's always that risk, afterall they do taste better than a dog.

I would normally prefer our furry pals but geese dont take a good deal of time training them. With geese you just have to remember to take a big stick out with you every time you leave the house,as E in fl says, they're not particular who they have a go at !

Geese are environmentaly friendly, they will eat all kind of crap you would throw out or stuff down the disposal otherwise. You could reduce your carbon footprint!
