More bloody cooking shows!
Comming soon:
Staggering really. All those people wasting their lives obsessively developing a niche skill to an unhealthy degree so they can be on criticised on TV for the blink of an eye .
Didn’t people used to do other things with their lives like make friends and go fishing?
TVNZ has decided to replace Coronation Street's 7.30pm timeslot with MasterChef Australia, which it said was a primetime winner last year, with its final show drawing in more than one million viewers.
The Australian show will screen five nights a week, while the British soap would also screen in half hour segments, five nights a week at the new time of 5.30pm.
A TVNZ spokeswoman said...
"We're keeping an open mind and we hope our viewers do the same."

I can see pay as you go internet tv taking off. Anyone heard any more about BBC IPlayer going international? I'd be interested in paying for that in the future.

At least those people are getting up off their arses, trying to improve themselves or following a dream, as opposed to all these sad gits complaining about Coronation Street getting bumped. Crikey, just how controversial can you get, messing with Coronation Street - whatever next?
Shhhh......don't tell anyone, it's a year behind anyway.

Aaaaah, the joys of mysky.
Things I don't watch.....cooking, crime/ murder (csi et al), the new breed of critical "reality" shows, soaps with the exception of Shorty, Haze puts her foot down.

Yep we have mysky and wouldn't be without it, watch all the great British Drama's and yes Shorty and Corrie but without adverts, I always record even if I am home and then I can start 10 mins later and skip through the adds. Brilliant invention. Plus I watch bbc i player through Expat Shield!

Remember the days when we used to actually have programmes you could watch - Sit coms, Musicals, variety, drama other than eternal police shows, and (shock horror) even educational, geographical and nature programmes?
Now if its not patrol programmes or chef programmes its making over hideous old hag programmes. My favourites are "How to look good naked", when they really really dont, and "Naked Office" - wtf is that about, it cant be real -no-one is that stupid really?

Pathetic isnt? Whats worrying is that this crap must achieve some ratings else it wouldnt be on.

Re: More bloody cooking shows!
Why do sky constantly advertise shows as 'A New Zealand first' when I know they've been on before because i've seen them! They keep repeating shows like Green green grass but never show an episode of Only fools & horses. Is it all down to cost?
