Hi there
Does anyone know how long it will take to get a medical certificate and chest X-ray after the appointment to send off with my application for essential skills visa?
Do you get it there and then or do you get it later? Or do they send it off? . . . I'm so confused! I've never had any serious illness and don't have any long term health problems. Does that make it quicker?

think ours took about a week to go and collect but does depend on the medical centre and how busy they are. have you already had the medical and xrays done? if not just ask them when you go. think your appt might be a bit quicker if you can say no to some of the questions but they will get a urine sample whilst you are there, height and weight are also done. if you are a lady of a certain age you will also have to have a breast examine.

We got our X-rays back about an hour after they were done... The medical took about a week.
