Right, flights booked - arriving Thursday 22 May.

Well, what a whirlwind of a journey. After fears that we would never get here, we arrived safely but tired on Wednesday. Today is Sunday morning and we have bank accounts, tax number, NZ driving licences an an invite out to Sunday lunch! We have a car on loan from a local dealer and we are out house hunting. Hubby has already done 2 days at work and I have volunteered at our local SPCA. Things are coming together and I like it!!!

We (Jane, Joe and Mia) arrived Chch yesterday. Met at the airport by husband/dad who we haven't seen since he came over on 10 March. Relaxed yesterday and had a walk on the beach at Sumner today. Sorting out schools in the next few days and unpacking a box or 10! Travelled with Air Singapore via Singapore and would thoroughly recommend a 6 hour session at the transit hotel and then a swim in the rooftop pool.

Our family (hubby, myself and our daughter....oh and the 2 four leggeds) arrived Tuesday 27th of May to Auckland. Should say hubby came over in March to get into work and organise house etc....we will be based in Auckland.
