Hi Everyone,

Long story short...our big move to NZ has been in the pipeline for nearly 3 years. The permanent residence visa's were the easy bit for us, it was the selling of the house that was a nightmare.
With only 3 months left until our departure from the UK, the excitement is now being overtaken by fear.

Look's like a great site and no doubt you will be hearing from us on the other boards....

Congrats on getting PR. That's a big hurdle. As for being fearful, nah, no reason. New Zealand's awright.

Thanks happynz, got the PR visa's through in just four weeks... were expecting it to take 9 - 12 months. Need to get jobs when we get there if not before, but that's not linked to the Visa fortunatly.

We're starting in Auckland mostly 'cos of the job prospects!

Hi and welcome
A lot of people seem to have gone through the self-doubt and worry. It seems to be a natural part of the process. I find myself a bit worried by that as we upped sticks and left without ever having a single doubt!! However, we have been here since last October and have never thought it was the wrong move. If you have any questions, fire away as generally, there is an answer to be found on here somewhere or failing that, at least some support!
