Hi everyone! Was wondering if anyone can help me out regarding work for coded welders. We have PR but still in the UK. OH has applied for welding jobs via various websites without any replies . I take it that the job situation is slow like the UK at the mo, but thought he would have got some kind of feedback. We would like to move to Taranaki area but is it a case of moving out to NZ and look for a job when there? Any help would be great

If you don't mind Whangarei, there is a company up there that have just taken on more Brits.
You could try them they are called Stone engineering and one of the big companys and do a lot of work for the refinery there.

Thanks for the info Hubby going to check out the companies, would you know if he would be better phoning these companies or just sending cv? Would be willing to move to most destinations in NZ!! Any help on this matter would be brill
