Default Job Offer

Hi guys,

I've been offered a job in New Zealand which I'd like to accept, I'm just looking for some advice really on where to get started and which visa route to take for my self and my partner.

I'm probably not like most people on the forum, I've never really thought about moving to NZ and was not actively looking but the job on offer is a fantastic opportunity and one well worth relocating for.

The position is a Skilled Occupation (Level 2) and I believe I have 105 points.

I dont want to mess my potential future employer around and so would want to take up the position relatively quickly if possible.

Thanks for your help.

Need a wee bit more than that. What is the occupation? 105 points is very low to make a skilled migrant application for residency .

IF you are wanting to come to NZ to start work for the employer then you would be looking at a temporary work visa from what you have written.

Is this occupation in shortage here?

This "job offer" hasn't been brought to you by some kind of agency has it? If so I would be VERY doubtful, your point score is borderline rejection whatever the job is and frankly there are very few professions here for which global headhunting takes place, so if you haven't sought the job out I'd have to ask why it has been offered? As BEVS says, bit more info please....
