Jet-Lag and babies don't mix.
We arrived yesterday afternoon, and have been struggling. Thank goodness we have our in-laws over here to help out, as Alexander swings from being comatose to having so much energy he won't even lie still for a nappy change (that's a story I won't share the details off! 
)
We're in Auckland at the moment. Staying at the Quay West Hotel on Albert Street, and managed to get out to Devonport for a stroll down the shops this morning.
We're off to Kelly Tarlton's tomorrow, and then up to Long Bay on wednesday.
Really enjoying it - even with the exhaustion!!

Don't envy you with a little one - but I'm sure he'll settle in a few days.
Kelly Tarlton's was great, we did it when we first arrived in Auckland - and the penguins are cool too!

I know what you mean by the jet lag we were ok all the way till we got to NZ have been feeling it a bit now but last night I slept right through so hopefull it will pass soon

sounds like you need a few drinks on friday - have a look at the meet-up section. Get the in-laws to mind the kids for a few hours !!!!
