Insurance - help needed

Insurance - help needed
Can anyone help or give any surgestions.
We have just under 8 weeks till we come to NZ and was woundering wether we should take one way travel insurance.
Normally for a holiday we would automatically take insurnace out in case our stuff goes missing - but this isn't a holiday.
has anyone else took insurance out and if so can you recomend any companies as i'm having great difficulty in findong companies
