...to get a credit card! Phoned my ASB branch on Friday, they took some details of what I wanted, called me back in about 2 hours said it had all been processed, got a call yesterday morning saying the card was in, just like that!! Its nice to not have to deal with call centres in Asia or India and actually deal with people who actually seem to want to help you! Wow!

And the girl in branch was very cute, which always helps

i bank with asb and had to meet with a life insurance woman. Seeing i had two kids in tow, her colleage booked an hour off, brought in some stickers, colouring books and pens, and sat with my girls while I was in the meeting.

Yeah, have been seriously impressed with ASB. When I phoned up the girl was like "ahh, I see you have dealt with Debbie before, I will wait til she is free and get her to organise this all for you", I nearly fell off my chair!!!

Yep, it makes a change from the sullen faces you used to get back in the UK, although I do remember our local Halifax branch had a toy box. Best of all though was the kiddies play area in Bunnings - much more fun than looking for a tin of paint.
