Default How does overseas tax work?

I've heard that some countries have treaties, so immigrants don't get screwed paying taxes in two places. What countries does NZ have agreements with? I'm particularly interested in going from the states to NZ. Am I going to pay double?

Yeeeeaaass! I got a raging purple hardon when I saw the US on that list.

I'm sure tax will still be a complicated process , but I'm glad something is in place to protect me from double tax.
