Holidays are coming. Holidays are coming.
While driving to work on the Upper Harbour Highway this morning I saw the first boat of the year being towed along - I expect to be taken to its summer home.
That did stir feelings of 'Great its summer' being stirred within me.
I don't own a boat, I don't see why I should care. What has happened to me?

Traditionally we wait until farmers declare a drought to mark the changing of the seasons .
I've always like the idea of having a boat, gallivanting up and down the coast while drinking cocktails. Sadly I have no interest in the practical realities of owning anything more onerous than a canoe.

I know it was a bit of a radical move and never been done this early before but in those first fleeting moments of Spring-like madness I whipped the winter duvet off of our bed and have also dared to go outside and to work bare legged.
I have been frozen to the core a few nights but I'm not giving in now.

Better dust off your jandals folks and get yourselves down to Warehouse before they run out of fans; it's going to be Scorchio next week

Truly traditional Christmas weather, is there any better way to spend new years than in a damp tent being bitten by bugs?
