high schools in taranga
Hi folks, I am hoping to get a bit of help, my place of work is on davenport rd, by grace rd I believe, (with views of the harbour) if that helps as I know davenport rd is very long.
Well, the boys will be 16 and 13 when we eventually arrive in Jan hopefully, and we are wondering if anybody can give us some advice on the best schools or at least some of the schools in that zone so we can research and contact them?

Tauranga Boys College is nearby , if you have a baptism certifcate & attended Catholic church Aquinas College has a good rep but it is fee paying, Bethlehem college has also got a good rep , may be a charge & you have to have evidence of your christian beliefs, church attendance all in application pack
My son , 16 has just started at Boys college & is enjoying so far
All schools have web sites.
Bring info from their old school as cirriculum is different - good luck

Even though we are out of the zone as we are in Papamoa it is where we want him to go.
Great sporting wise, academically and pastorally - I think there are links to the schools in the Wiki NZ bit.

I would agree with bolton1, Tauranga Boys would be you first point of call. Our son who is nearly 11 will hopefully be going there the year after next. Even though we are out of the zone as we are in Papamoa it is where we want him to go.Great sporting wise, academically and pastorally - I think there are links to the schools in the Wiki NZ bit.
