I guess the south island has better weather than the UK but what I meant is the North Island is generally warmer, my boyfriend and his family coming form NZ would also say this.

The South Island gets snow and frosty while the North does not, so its fair to say its a bit colder down there :huh:

However, Nelson gets the most sunshine in NZ!?

Looking out the window here today its another fine day, the Indian summer we were promised- grey drizzle, 'wet rain' lol (im still in Cheshire!):thumbdown:

i just dont no where i really wana go it all looks an sounds amazing! :thumbsup:

my partner has family in christchurch, and at first we wanted to go there but we have now decided we need to find out wer is right for us as a family! :fingerscrossed:

we are looking into auckland because of the job situation , we both want to be able to go over with job offers if we can. :p

my partner is a heating and ventilation installer and has found it hard looking for a job over there, i have found many nurses job s however i would really like to stay in the community setting!:unsure:

at the moment tho we are just saving as much as we can so we get a good chance over there, hopfully be able to go this time next year if not before! :fingerscrossed:

Tauranga has a busy hospital and is a fab place to live and work mt maunganui and papamoa have fab beaches and climate pretty good to

ohh cool, which side of the island are they based not heard much about them before, i have alot of info on auckland, wellington, christchurch.:thumbsup:

but not much elsewhere?:( just wanted to no wot you lot think of the rest of the country!:thumbup:
