Thanks everyone, bit of a palava with collection as we didnt check if the plane was delayed so ended up with a 4 hour wait but all ran smoothly with collecting Tony and he is at home and marvellous!
He seems really confident and is just sussing the place out... was ravenous so Ive given him 3 sachets which he woofed down and he's having a little kip now![Smile](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Our own 2 cats came out using Airpets at Heathrow who were brill. They booked all the flights for them .
They landed at Auckland and then got the internal flight to Nelson.
Mr BEVS says all he did was make himself known to Air NZ (that is the only airline to fly into Nelson) with the paperwork. He then waited at the one baggage reclaim which has no conveyor belt. It is just a small area outside the airport. Holly and Tyler puss cats came out in their crates, on the same trolley as all the luggage . They gave Mr BEVS some stick when they saw him. I can only take his word for this. He took them back to the rental and an invoice from MAF for a few $$ turned up a few weeks later. No probs.
Of course, it was all love and treats and food and fun. He did keep them in though whilst they got used to where they were.
When I arrived 8 weeks later, they were settled really but it was still major shake tails time, big pads and night-time dribbles on the face when I turned up.
They are our family aren't they.

Tony thanks you for the welcomes everyone! ![Big Grin](https://britishexpats.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Aw they are indeed, didn't feel relaxed and settled until he arrived! Well you'd think he'd always been here, seems right at home and relaxed. I've taken him for walks round the garden with his harness on - will do this daily for a couple of wks then he should be ready to roam and come home!
That sounds like such a hassle free way of collecting the kittys, much better than AKL process of too-ing and fro-ing!
Here's some pics of the international jet-setter Tony Mac - Liverpool, Shropshire, London, LA and NZ stamps in his passport now!
