Having A Baby in NZ

Re: Having A Baby in NZ
We had a great experience with NZ healthcare last year when we had our little girl.
My wife had gestational diabetes and we were very well looked after before, during and after the birth.

Re: Having A Baby in NZ
i have nothing but the highest of praise for the nz system.
having given birth twice in two years here- once emmergency c section and once very early quick natural followed by a few weeks in scbu i can quite honestly say the systme is amazing!
i have heard nothing but horror stories from my friends back in blighty giving birth and thier utter amazment that you see the same midwife here and dont get kicked straight out of hospital after having your wee one
my midwife has been amazing- the hospital was amazing through both of my very different birthing stories and the after care for me and our wonderful girl in scbu this time round was truey brilliant.
have no worries about giving birth here- find yourself a good midwife- and enjoy the experience
pm me if you want to any more info
