Hi, it's lake rotoroa in centre of Hamilton near the hospital.

If you are anywhere near Hamilton east - try memorial park - there's a lovely play area suitable ages 4 ish + and a paddling pool and a little aviery with colourful birds. Near the river bank so a nice peaceful setting. We are close by there for the next week if you end up that way on.

Hope it helps.

If you have access to google maps - put the name if the lake in and it will show you it. Park is to right hand corner - also has a good size cafe and tidy toilets and plenty parking x

Have a look at Hamilton Gardens just off Cobham drive.
Beautiful gardens and there is usually something on there at weekends

We have just moved into the Cambridge house this morning, thats why i hadnt replied - been a bit pushed for time and this was packed up yesterday.
Still working on the schools.
Sorry we didnt get to chat much at the picnic, have you seen anything of any of the others that were at the picnic? we could catch up if you like, when then kids have started school. pm me if you fancy it x

I'm glad Darraghs getting his things sorted out - it can make them quite miserable when they feel poorly all the time - not to mention you aswell x

Take care
