Sometime after having two years of PR (under the old scheme) we have now got the blue stickers which means we can leave and return to NZ indefinitely. I thought it would be nothing really, but I am strangely pleased and it definitely feels like a step closer to our citizenship application

We've been here nearly three years but only just got around to changing to the no-travel-restrictions as we need to leave the country for a hol this year.

we didn't even know you had to change the thingy in the first place, and off went the better half to home one year, only to get back and be told when she arrived back that she wasn't allowed back in and nor could she work either!

After a bit of screaming she was let in and told in no uncertain terms that she wasn't to work until we had the new thingy stamped and in her passport!
